Imagine a future where your fridge will be ordering your groceries and a drone will be delivering them. In fact, you don’t even have to imagine this, as both these technologies are in the works.

While autonomous vehicles might be hogging all the limelight, Ai is also affecting transport in a variety of other ways. When it comes to public transport, AI can detect which routes have the highest footfall, and how many vehicles should be dispatched to these routes.

Then, it sends out automatic alerts to notify passengers of any scheduling changes. Shipping routes and cargo flights can also use AI to detect weight limits and notify the appropriate personnel.

AI is already being used in the field of diagnostics quite effectively. Algorithms learn from millions of test results and then are able to detect any issues when it comes to diagnostic testing. Often, AI has detected cancer and other such discrepancies in extremely early stages, making treatment much more effective and preventive. 

Furthermore, AI cuts out the human error element, enabling more efficient surgeries with high survival rates. Robotic arms have been used in surgeries for years now and are improving every day. When it comes to health issues such as diabetes and hypertension, IoT can be quite helpful. It can detect blood sugar levels and heart rates through wearables such as smartwatches. In the future, wearables may even be able to detect upcoming seizures and heart attacks, enabling users to get emergency medical help immediately.

For example, if you take a snapshot of a poster with your smart eyewear, AI algorithms will suggest various related videos you can watch. It can even compile images and ads from all over the internet, and show you what it thinks you’ll like.  

Education

In the future, AI could revolutionize education completely. Instead of a standardized curriculum and lessons for all students, algorithms can detect what topic a student needs more reinforcement for and give them lessons accordingly. In addition, it can also determine how skilled students are at certain assessments and up the difficulty accordingly. 

This individualized approach to education has significant potential, as it takes into account everyone’s different abilities and weaknesses. With such a system, dropout rates will decrease, as students will be able to cope with their lessons.
